Power BI vs Excel

Project Goal: Create a dashboard to relate high-level data about Payor denials

Project tasks:

• Pull the Data using SQL

• Clean the Data

  • Use formula and equations to create needed columns

  • Make sure data is in the correct formats for analysis

• Excel

  • Use Pivot Tables / Slicers to create interactive graphs

• Power BI

  • Update the existing excel dashboard to POWER BI

These dashboard examples are based on real-world dashboard that I created.

The data has been de-identified and altered.
